Exclusive rewards for advertising with SHM

I won't waste your time with a long spiel about the benefits of ezine advertising, and why you should use it.

You KNOW that.

You're here, eh?

So, here's what we offer above and beyond the benefits you'll get advertising in most other Internet marketing ezines:

  1. You're GUARANTEED to break even on most ad packages

This one's what you've been waiting for, isn't it?

If you don't *at least* break even with any product offering at least a moderate to high per-sale profit ($50+ per sale) from any Solo Offer order, I'll re-run your offer(s) until you do.

I'll run the same offer for you again at no additional charge with a few lines at the top, reminding the reader to check out your offer. This always pulls in additional clicks, and usually, a few more sales.

If THAT one re-run of your Offer still doesn't break you even, I'll run another Offer for you (for a NEW product) so you'll recoup your investment. (If, on the off chance, this still doesn't recoup ... I guarantee the results of the guarantee!)

If you have a product that offers a low profit per sale (less than $50 per sale), I guarantee that you'll receive at least 150 *unique* clicks, or I'll keep running ads for you until you do.

This completely removes all risk from your ad buy today.

    How's THAT for customer service?

P.S. Click here for full details and restrictions on how the guarantee works.

  2. Your Solo Offer is the ONLY solo run that week

You won't have to battle 7, 3, or even 2 competing Offers the week your ad is run. No other solo offers will be run the week yours is.

(Yep -- this rule has been implemented so readers remain responsive to mailings from the ezine. Only one Offer per week ensures readers stay interested.)

  3. No humongous disclaimers or other distracting copy before your ad

Some publishers put clumps upon clumps of crappy disclaimers, and "this ad is offered to you by I'm-A-Dunce ezine ... get yours today!" or, "please support our sponsors" notices before your ad ... as if that REALLY encourages people to buy your product. :-/

What a HUGE disservice to the advertiser! There will only be ONE LINE of copy above your Solo Offer in SHM. And that one line WILL NOT distract from your Offer. If anything, it'll add to it.

That one line will read, "Recommended Resource from Straight from the Horse's Mouth..."

It encourages people to check out your product -- it doesn't hinder them. Click here for an example. (This is an example of a Solo Offer Rewrite package.)

  4. YOU set the subject line

FACT: In most e-mail programs, a user will only be able to see the first five words of the subject line before opening the message.

FACT: Most ezine publishers steal that critical, highly valuable "teaser" copy from you ... by littering your e-mail subject line with telltale, response-killing verbiage, like, "Jane's Ezine Exclusive Mailing: your teaser finally goes here."

    Ouch!

With SHM Solo Offers, YOU create your own custom subject line. You can even personalize it with the reader's first name for maximum punch.

Note: Your subject line will only be preceded by an "SHM*:" for the text version of your Offer, and by "e-SHM*:" for the notice for the Web version.

    For example:

    SHM*: YOUR subject line here.

    ...or...

    e-SHM*: YOUR subject line here.

  5. Personalize Offers with reader's first names and more

It can increase your response many times over to personalize your Offers to the reader. You can use first name, last name, e-mail address, or the date they joined the ezine as custom fields in your ad.

Note: The date joined could be skewed. It might show the date I imported them from my old mailing list host to my new mailer -- not the actual join date. Most of my readers have been with me for YEARS, and those readers join dates aren't saved in the current mailing system.

The last name might also be blank OR the same as the first name, due to similar import issues.

Note Within a Note: Even though readers might have been moved to different mailing list hosts over the years, all join requests are kept on file. Have no fear of spam complaints with SHM Solo Offers.

  6. NO competing Offers run for the same company you're advertising ... for a full month!

This benefit is extremely valuable if you're running ads for an affiliate program you joined, or if you offer an affiliate program for YOUR product or service.

Say you're an affiliate for my product, Website Marketing for Cheapskates. If you're the first person to run an Offer for WM4C that month, I won't run any other Offers for that product for 30 full days following the date of YOUR mailing.

You have enough competition in the general marketplace without having to compete with other affiliates in an ezine YOU'RE advertising in. The more times a list sees an ad for a particular product, the LESS likely they are to buy when YOU try to advertise it.

I've eliminated that problem for you here.

    (Customer service... take THAT! ;-)

  7. Your Offer archived indefinitely on the site...

I publish an HTML version of SHM right alongside the text version, so it gets to those people whose e-mail programs may have filtered out the text ezine. I also send out notices when the Web version of a Solo Offer or endorsement has been posted on the site.

This means lots of extra exposure for you after the fact.

There's a prominent link to the "Past Product Offers" in the navigational column on the main site. So, as readers come online to read the ezine each week, they'll also continue to be exposed to YOUR Solo Offer. (Look to the right on this page to see what I mean.)

I even enhance/highlight select parts of your copy with selective bold, vibrant color, and other formatting when it's posted, to make your most important selling points jump out at the reader -- just like your site's sales letter.

  8. Unlimited* Offer length

    *Within reason.

Although complete sales letters aren't allowed, you should have more than enough space to get your message across to readers in your Offer. ("Unlimited" in this case is basically no more than about 15K, give or take a few bytes.)

  9. Offensive "marketing hype" is banned

Yes ... this actually IS a benefit, though it may not seem so at first glance. Basically, it means that if *I* think the advertised product sucks, the biz opp is preposterous, or the ad is over the top ... I WILL NOT run that Offer.

PROMISE: If *I* wouldn't consider buying it, I wouldn't even waste your time (or insult your intelligence) by offering it to YOU, or any of the other readers of SHM.

    Period.

Remember -- I have a certain standard to uphold, and a promise to keep to my readers. If I do that, your Offers will continue to get the amazing response we're all used to. If I don't, readership will decrease, Offer response will go down, and you'll make less money per ad.

    We don't want that.

The Solo Offers will be upheld to the same standard I uphold the actual EZINE ISSUES to.

PROMISE: No filler, no hype, no outlandish claims, no crappy products. Period.
